My name isn't Imani Oake, but I’m a chick no different from you. I’m hard-working, overwhelmed by debt, self-educated, and college-educated. Shout out to my bachelor's degree that makes me underqualified but overqualified. I was born in 1997 in an uneventful place. GO BILLS! I'm just a chick settled in my 7 - 3, doing just enough for the man to protect my peace and prioritize my personal development. I loved my last job. It was cool. I spent most of my time coloring cat pictures because my name isn’t Imani Oake. In my free time I love to color. Coloring brought me peace, mental clarity, and bursts of creativity that cultivated the perfect grounds for re-imaging my reality. Something between the over-layering of colors and black ink, there it was… my solution to freedom, right in the palms of my hands. I don’t live paycheck to paycheck, only because I live with my mama lol. My name isn't Imani Oake, but I work to go on vacation. I spend a month a year somewhere solo in the Caribbean Central America. I go on vacation to be me, the truest version of me… the me who don't give af but can’t stop giving af. I’m passionate lol. I’ve visited five of the seven countries in Central America. My name isn’t Imani Oake, but I’m a goofy chick who is not unlike you. I’m the mother of a furry baby girl named Thursday. She’s a cat.
